Vail is a beautiful ski town near Denver, Co. It can be reached by travelling 80 miles east on I-70 from Denver.
European looking buildings and a flurry of new construction overlooks ski slopes and aspen forests in the Rockies at 10000 ft above sea level.

Booth Falls Trail:
Trailhead is at the end of Booth Falls Road. No parking fee.
2 miles each way/ 1400 feet elevation change
2-3 hours strenuous/moderate hike.
Bring a snack and water. Be prepared for thunderstorms/rain during summer evenings and shoes with good footing are a must for the last 500 yards of the trail requiring a downhill hike on dry soil covered rocks on the side of a hill. Cascades under the 60 (80?) foot high waterfalls are equally beautiful…
